We consider candidates who meet our 9-point selection criteria:

Name recognition via electronic or print media OR strong word of mouth
Track record of contributing to their neighborhood’s identity or history
Business may be vulnerable to commercial rent increases
Under 500 employees
15+ years in business
Family has a next generation who can be engaged in a succession plan
Family is actively engaged in managing the business
Strong ethnic or specialty customer base
History of contributing to neighborhood community-based activities in alignment with USF’s Jesuit mission
